Founded in 1994, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is the "world championship" of wine and spirits. Approximately 6000 wines and spirits from around the world compete for rankings representing more than 500 million bottles sold.

Composed entirely of wine and spirits professionals, the jury of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is the cream of international experts. Nearly 40 nationalities are represented in the tasting panel, a diversity that contributes to the uniqueness of the event.

Approximately 230 jurors form the panels that carry out the blind testing.  The quantity and quality of the experts ensures fairness and accuracy.

Of 6,000 entries, there are 300 silver awards, 100 gold awards, and 7 grand gold awards.
